Believe it or not, yes, people do make a decent living betting on horses. In the US and UK, it is a Multi Million, if not Billion dollar industry, and for the right picks, there is plenty of money to be made.

Of course betting on horses, there is quite a bit of involved risk, and for those who are not headstrong on how to place bets, will lose their shirt quickly. But also realize, just like in Forex Trading or Real Estate Investing, if you do not know how to exactly execute the proper process to analyze and do the best possible decision, most likely you are not going to be a success.

What intrigued me about horse racing, was that for many years, my Uncle, who is now retired, was into everything dealing with Race Horses. He knows so much about horse racing, and the local track, he could give you an mental tour of how to get around the track without getting lost. Unfortunately now, that Track is very aged and is a few ticks shy of being demolished to either make way for a new track or some retail space.

Every once in a while, my uncle, cousin, and I will head to what we call an off track wagering house about 20 minutes from home. An off track wagering or off track betting facility, is where you would go to bet on horses that are being raced at another track. Some off track betting facilities have agreements with networks to simulcast, or close circuit broadcast races from different race tracks. The off track betting facility we went to simulcasted about a dozen different racetracks, throughout the northeast, and even a track from Australia!!!

Of course, when it came to horse betting, I was absolutely clueless! I decided to go to the bar, buy a beer on tap and a Racebook, which featured all of the horses that were racing for that day, and a ton of statistics for each horse. Looking at all of the statistics, my Uncle, being the genius at racehorse analysis, told me what to look for. Speed, workout regimen, race frequency, win/lose record, jockey, and several other factors came into play when properly betting a horse.

Also what I didn’t know, was that bettors usually didn’t bet on one horse. They could bet on combos or two or three. A betting order of two horses to the finishing line is called an exacta. An order of three is called a Trifecta, and I didn’t know that there was a Superfecta, which was super rare to win, which was an order of four horses. Some track facilities will allow you to box pick, which means picking 2 or 3 horses in any order, which usually costs twice the wager for the Pari-Mutuel (Fancy name for wager ticket), and usually the price is half of a straight wager.

Of course after spending about $20 on a few losing Pari-Mutuels, and a couple of beers, and tipping the cute bartender, I decided to do some research and try to find a product, which could possibly help you get the edge in horse racing wagers.

It seems like there was a sea of systems out there, which were only good, if you were going to bet on British Horse Racing, and use a network system called BetFair. Unfortunately, I am in the United States, where BetFair will not be used for an Off Track Betting Facility to make wagers.

The one system I found, is a system that uses the Fibonacci Principle. For you GoForexTrade.com visitors, if this sounds familiar to your eyes, it is because breakout traders use the Fibonacci Sequence to determine the best entry and exit points during a heavily volatile forex session. The same Fibonacci Sequence can be used to determine the highest possible probability in horse betting.

This system is called the GO Fibonacci Horse Racing System. A system that is “800 years in the making” definitely states the principle of Leonardo Fibonacci’s legacy of finding a natural numbering sequence that would do it’s best to imitate nature (Google Logmarithic Spirals on a boring day) and in it’s form, could predict certain possibilities, such as market trends, and outcomes of certain events.

Check out the Go Fibonacci Horse Racing System, and let me know how it works for you. If Leonardo Fibonacci’s Rule can work on Forex and the Stock Market for my fellow traders, Horses shouldn’t be that much different.
