Welcome to the weekend! Now it is time to get to that wonderful blog we have here that showcases some awesome Ferraris! This time, we are going to greatly contrast this weeks edition from the usual: We are going to post AFFORDABLE Ferraris for auction and for sale, which most will cost under 35K. These cars would be a great value for those who are new and interested in starting a Ferrari Collection, but do not have a sultan’s fortune to acquire.

Ferrari #5 is a rare 1983 Ferrari 400i, which was the 2+2 grand tourer from the late 70’s and 80’s. preceded by the 365 Daytona 2+2 and the succeeded by the 456GT, this model is usually looked over among collectors, but a potential rising start at auctions and collectors garages. With 55,000 miles, and a buy it now on ebay for 27K, a great first car for the eager Ferrari Collector.

Ferrari #4 is the 1979 Ferrari 308, another highly produced marvel within the Ferrari Marque. a three litre v8, mounted transverse mid-rear configuration and pushes an honest 225 bhp, was made very popular with the T.V. Show Magnum P.I. The starting bid for this ferrari is under $20,000 and has 46,000 miles.

Ferrari #3 is a Mondial Cabriolet from 1985. 3.2 litres of v8 mid mounted rear drive power and 24,000 miles, well kept and a great 2+2 that fell into the mid rear lineup (the 400 being the front-reat Grand Tourer during that time.) A sick Ferrari of course and heavily accessible under $30,000.

Ferrari #2 is Also a Mondial, but maybe you do not prefer a Spyder! Maybe you just want to have a coupe instead!!! There is one for sale, slightly higher on the mileage, but at the same pricepoint as Ferrari #3.

Ferrari #1, as we usually try to save the best for last, is probably a bit over the 35K range, but for under 50K, on buy it now, you can get a 1998 355 F1! was in a small wreck as the owner claims, but has been repaired and works fine. has records and everything and has a low 13,890 miles to it’s name. Painted in Nero and here is a plus! Year one for SMG!!! You get them floppy sticks Jeremy Clarkson just loves to hate!

Welcome to another installment of Ferraris of the week, and this week we are going to cover Racing Ferraris!

Ferrari has a racing legacy that covers over 60 years, with success coming in many different forms of racing. From the numerous World titles in Formula one, to the classic battles against the likes of Ford, Jaguar, and other worldly Marques in the 24 hours of Le Mans, to GT class and club events, Ferrari’s legacy has one like no other.

Ferrari #5, is a 360 Challenge, which is a Racing version of the popular 360 Modena.
Comes with all of the trimmings of a truly respectable race car. From the red painted Racing spoke wheels, to the perforated Challenge rear grill, to sponsor decals throughout, to the Fly Giallo PPG Paint Job.

Despite the car being a track only, we only see 123 miles, and was kept an maintained by a Ferrari Dealership. Knowing such, this Ferrari is well taken care of, and ready to hit a few laps with it’s new owner.

Ferrari #4, is another Ferrari 360 Challenge! This time, it is a race car for two. Perfect for rallies, and giving your friends the ride of their lives at track day, This Ferrari has chrome racing spoke wheels, and is painted in Rossa Corsa. Sold by a private owner, with 9320 miles, this Ferrari at $170,000 seems to be overpriced, in comparison to the #5 listing trying to sell their 360 Challenge for around $90K.

Ferrari #3, is one for the ages, A Ferrari F40 from 1990. Powered by a three litre, Twin Turbo F1 derived V8, with 471 Horsepower to boot. Of course a F40 is not an F40 without the obligatory Rosso Corsa paint scheme, and F40 Wing! Under 3200 miles, and despite being a car of nearly 20 years, this beauty ages gracefully in the Ferrari Stables and still grabs attention wherever it roams.

Absolutely in pure, pristine condition, and the asking bid is $600,000.

Ferrari #2, Another Supercar, two generations after the F40, the Enzo Ferrari! The seller claims with 975 miles, that this beauty was never tracked or raced! How can you NOT track a Ferrari! You have to remember folks, that a Ferrari is MEANT to be raced! Ferrari’s are not to be babied, but to be RACED!!!! This, car, like the last two, is in Rosso Corsa, The Red color that Ferrari Enthusiasts have come to known. Powered by a six litre V-12, going over 660 HP, topping out at just over 210 mph, this car just beats anything on the track.

Ferrari #1, And damn, do we have one to top the racing edition this week! A 1956 Ferrari Testarossa 500! Yep! with the first bid set for a staggering $5,000,000, you are betting on the bad ol grandaddy of the pack! One of the first Ferrari’s to the shot heard round the world! There were only 20 made in the whole entire world, and has ran races at leMans, and won races at Laguna Seca to name a few. Also a great list of Drivers from Richie Ginther, Pete Lovely, and Von Neuman! Everything is 100% ORIGINAL, to the paint, engine, design, Wire knock off wheels, and papers to go with the car too!

Well, now you have some more Ferrari Racing Smarts after going through this edition of Ferrari’s of the week! Have a great weekend and see you for Weight Loss Monday!

RACE ON!!!!

Good weekend, and how is everybody doing? Have another successful week? Did you seize the day and succeed at your goals, or heading towards them? Well, it is time for another wonderful installment of Ferraris of the week!

This week, just like last week, will be a mixed bag of Ferraris as we will not have a certain “grouping” or “era” of Ferraris.

Ferrari #5: 1972 Ferrari 365GTB/4 Daytona Spyder Conversion

Here is another rare one for the top Ferrari Collector. The 365GTB/4 is a custom conversion in Rosso Corsa, which was done at Sport Auto in Italy. The Interior is all new and the Wheels are Wire Knock off (Not fake, but the wheels that have to be “Hammered into the car”.) Now that is what I call a classic! the bidding is current at $125K with a buy it now of over $300K.

Ferrari #4: 1993 Ferrari Testarossa

The famous flat 12 that everybody wanted to have in the late 80’s is up for sale. Painted in Rosso Corsa, and only has twelve thousand miles, this classic is bid at 35K, but the reserve is not met.

Ferrari #3: 1972 Dino 246GTS

Love your 355, 360, or F430? You have the Dino to thank. The classic Dino is painted in Fly Giallo, and has 56,000 Miles! That is alot of shows, beach trips and fun cruises around the block! The bid has been set to a high $185,000. The question is, would you think someone would bid close to $200,000 for a relic such as the Dino?

Ferrari #2: 1985 Ferrari Mondial Spyder

For the affordable, but cool Ferrari’s from the 80’s, we have the 1985 Ferrari Mondial Spyder. Ferrari Red, and Black Clothtop with aftermarket five spoke wheels, a nice buy at $22,999. 48,000 Miles.

Ferrari #1: 2005 Superamerica!

Take a Ferrari 575M, Build a targa top, and add some more juice to already 480+ horsepower V12, and add a few things here and there, and BAM! You have a Ferrari Superamerica! Nice rare car and does some evil on the road as well on the track. This fine specimen of Italian Engineering has only 1,310 Miles, and is looking for a home where it can tear up the tarmac.

Thank you for joining me with another installment of Ferraris of the week! Have a good weekend!!!

There is not a more amazing way to break in this site, then to post a Ferrari’s of the week! This week, we are shooting for some classics! Every weekend we will have a Ferrari’s of the week post, where I will showcase five Ferrari’s, and Once in a while I will try to have a theme week to, highlighting supercar Ferrari’s, vintage, or very rare cars! Sit back and read, I hope you will enjoy this!

Ferrari #5: 1992 Ferrari F40:

Looks like we are starting this post with a well revered supercar, that would mother the F50 and eventually the Enzo and FXX. A Twin turbo v-8 with 471 Horsepower and a gut wrenching punch to reckon with the Porsche 959 at the time, the F40 is a sweet car that delivers over promise and makes even the most skeptic turn their heads!

Ferrari #4: 1973 365 GT4 2+2:

Another Fine gem in the historic collections of Ferrari Enthusiasts, the Ferrari 365 GT4 marked a change in design as Ferrari started to use the highly controversial “wedge” design that Bertone instead of the classic rounded egde design. Powered with a 4.4 V12 and seats Four, This Gran Tourer is priced at 25K at time of writing.

Ferrari #3: 1968 365 GTC:

Here’s to another rare gem. a 2+2 which predates #4 in style. The round curves Ferrari is known for are well displayed on this beauty enrobed in Rossa Corsa, the Red us all Ferrari Enthusiasts know so well!

Ferrari #2:  Un-Ferrari: 1965 Ferrari Vespa PX150:

This is a nice tribute to Ferrari. Take a Roman Holiday in this one banger painted in rosa corsa with the Ferrari Badge on the front wheel cover. I would be very interested if this scooter had an upgraded Ducati engine which would be more than fitting the cause!! lol!

Ferrari #1: My Personal Fave, 1984 BBi 512:

Yes, the predecessor to the all important in history Testarossa 512TR, the BB512 and 365BB before it were part of an era where V blocks were not all of the Rage, as Teams in F1 were using Flat profile engines which saved space and lowered the center of gravity in the late 70’s. Taking the technology off of the track and into production cars, Ferrari made their mark with the 365, and then the BB512. The model for sale here is a BBi, which the i suffix means it is fuel injected. The issue with Earlier Ferrari fuel injection systems, were despite an increase in efficiency, came an undesired decrease in horsepower. A few years later, Ferrari corrected this through advances in engine technology, and what advances could be pulled directly from Auto racing.

Yep! I know you all have been waiting for the return of this blog, and I have as well! Now is the right time, and I am proud to say we are back once again!

HAVE FUN!
