Either better suited as a twitter post or just a blip on the sea of facebook statuses that I see day in and day out. But I needed a larger soapbox in order to stress the importances of picking who is on your team to ensure the best possible success for when it comes to joint ventures for your product or service.
I have to warn you, not everbody is up to the job, or just cut out to do anything. Seriously, you might be full of piss and vinegar ready to rock and roll in this world of internet marketing or web design sales, but one thing is for sure. If you are late, going to nitpick on cancellations (remember, I have a business to run, the world is not perfect.) Do not rationalize cancellations and problems on my mind to counter with some trip to the fucking beach and standing me up.
Sorry, short rant.
In all, I am now a bit wiser with who I pick as a consulting or sales referral partner. Yeah, just about anybody can send business over to me, but if you plan to send me consistent business through prospecting or going through your large network, you have to be extremely serious. BUSINESS IS A SERIOUS MATTER. This is not no fucking nightclub or hotspot to hang out. THIS IS A GODDAMN BUSINESS IN THE REAL WORLD WHERE PEOPLE HAVE REAL PROBLEMS AND NEED SOLUTIONS FROM OUR COMPANY IN ORDER TO FULFILL THEIR GOALS AND AMBITIONS.
WE are not slinging drinks and no Arthur Kade approved model serving you bottle service. We are building solutions that range from a few hundred bucks to tens of thousands of dollars. Oh, are you listening now? Because with the affiliate/referral program, you would of received a handsome commission from referring a site deal to us. Push a $10,000 deal and you eat better than many people do. Hell, why screw up a potential opportunity.
I am NO LONGER looking for affiliates to promote website sales. You seriously need to prove me that you are worth it now. Otherwise go away!
