Hello, a new week and yet another Monday. You look at your desk and coming back from that weekend with friends and family, Barbecues, and trips to the shore, you come back to a week full of work and ready to put up with the usual.
Here at I Live In Success.com I am looking to get into a regular schedule with blogging. Five days a week, Monday through Friday, taking your workday to a whole new level with a new blog post! The new blog schedule contains:
Monday: Weight Loss – My Journey, and of course a few discussions as well
Tuesday: Product Review – Could be anything to make your life better, either through a thinner waist line to a fatter paycheck!
Wednesday: My Journey in Internet Marketing
Thursday: Either a Product Review or something completely off of the wall
Friday: Ferrari’s of the week, where I pinpoint five Ferraris that are for sale!!! Sometimes we will have “editions” which we showcase classic Ferrari’s, Racing Ferraris, and Supercar Ferrari’s to name a few!!!
Well, let’s get to the topic today, The Scare of Diabetes!
Yeah, I have not been watching my weight and as of right now, I have been having issues with sometimes feeling tired after eating. I just end up going upstairs and just drop dead on my bed and fall right asleep.
My brother, who is living with me right now, told me that he was concerned with my health, and that my cousin wants me also to test my blood sugar. My cousin BTW is a diabetic and would hate to see anybody go through such an sickness.
So, I rose from my bed and went downstairs, and my cousin took a drop of blood and tested it. Shockingly to my amazement, my blood sugar was at 168. I almost shit myself and thinking how the heck can I deal with having diabetes. My cousin and brother calmed me down, and told me to take another test in the morning, which I did and my blood sugar was at 108, which could be borderline diabetes.
So, now with this life threatening condition at possibility, I seriously needed to concern myself with my weight and my current lifestyle. Right now my activity is sedentary, as I am working more on the freelance end of things, then rather a labor intensive job.
The plan here, is to cut some weight, and drink water. I have just about completely cut out all sugar in my diet, and concentrating on a meat and vegetable diet, that eliminates carbs altogether. This is so that I can keep my blood sugar low and regain energy and be able to move around with the added mobility that losing weight allows.
I am also looking into Gyms as well. a great gym, that has some cardio and a nice array of weight lifting equipment as well. I would prefer less of a corporate fitness center, and more of a local mom and pop operation. I require to have both freeweights and machines, as I use both to get the best workout possible.
Next week, I will build and assemble my food menu, which will help me in the dietary end of things. I will discuss how I will prepare the menu and what portion sizes to use.
